Microsoft Releases Office 2010 Details
Microsoft has begun releasing details of its new release of Microsoft Office, called Office 2010. I’ve already signed up for the Technical Preview of the software, but unfortunately I’m still on the waitlist.
With this release they are coming out with some new web functionality (similar and in direct competition with Google Docs). There are also some new collaboration tools to better allow teams to work on the same documents at the same time more easily. I’ve been using Powerpoint more often lately, and it looks like we can expect some better video and picture editing abilities as well (which I’m excited about).
I’ll be putting together a more complete list of new changes to expect with the new release and what to look forward to. I’m anxious to see what changes are made with Excel 2010, hopefully for the better.
Here’s a video talking about a few things to expect in Office 2010.
