What Version Of Excel Do You Use?

We just closed our first poll on Excel Hints after receiving over 100 votes. Thanks to everyone who participated. The results were pretty much as expected. We asked users of the site which version of Excel they were currently using.

I expected the results be lean more towards Excel 2003 still, since it seemed to me that many businesses out there have not felt the need to upgrade to 2007 yet. I think some are still nervous about learning the new interface that Office 2007 came out with. But the poll shows the results are pretty close between Excel 2003 & Excel 2007 for readers of Excel Hints. Below is a chart of the results of the poll.

Results of Excel Version Poll

As you can see, it looks like the results are pretty split between Excel 2003 & Excel 2007. As a result, I will try to include tips that work for both versions in future updates, or specifically specify which version the tip qualifies for.

Check out our newly added poll and vote when you have time. I’m trying to gauge how often users are using Excel macros in their project.
